The word 'Samai' is derived from the Devnagiri script meaning 'Time'. It is an experience of the feelings of change, which is analogous to the temporal flow of our emotions. The word is also an acronym for a 5 stage process of emotional involution whose steps include Sense, Accept, Merge, Appreciate and Integrate. Why was Samai created ?
Samai was created by Resonant Ventures, or Resoven. Resoven was incorporated when our founders recognised that although emotions were core to our very experience of life, there were negligible resources to facilitate their integration. Resoven was hence founded to facilitate this integration of emotional awareness into all facets of life though mobile devices and training programmes.
