Oracle Field Service allows workers to easily access, execute and manage work-related activities and ongoing communications from their mobile device. This includes retrieving activities, managing routes, viewing activity details, providing activity updates, managing inventory, communicating with peers, etc. The app works whe n the mobile worker does not have internet connectivity and automatically synchronizes any actions taken while offline when connectivity is established.
When used with Oracle Field Service Smart Location, Professional or Enterprise, functionality is extended to continually gather a mobile workers coordinates when the app is running in the background.
