About this app:

AWork (http://jwork.org/dmelt/awork) is a programming environment that can execute standard Java syntax and extends it with scripting conveniences of BeanShell (http://www.beanshell.org/) . It allows to use scientific Java libraries to perform complex mathematical, numerical and statistical calculations with scientific graphs.

AWork is an Andro id version of the DataMelt ("DMelt") Java project (http://jwork.org/dmelt) for data mining and scientific data plotting. AWork can be used for display functions, bar charts, pie charts, histograms and scatter plots.

AWork also supports Octave (Matlab) scripting language for symbolic calculations (integration, plotting, differentiation, simplifications, solving equations etc.).

This application comes with 10 demo examples. Using the left menu, open the directory "AWorkEditor/examples". Open a script with the extension ".bsh" or ".m". Then run it using the top-right menu (the button "Run"). Now you can see graphs or outputs using again the top-right menu (the buttons "Graph" or "Output").
